Therefore, they can be two to three times more energy-efficient than conventional electric resistance water heaters. All of the HVAC companies I know of are not in the business of selling repair parts. We are focused on servicing equipment for those who need help fixing their system.

There are businesses in town that do sell some repair parts, though, so you might try those establishments.

Do you repair mini-splits or ductless systems?

At Fox Family, our practice is to repair mini-splits or ductless systems only if we’ve installed them. The reason for this is because there are too many people out there who are installing ductless systems they bought online. We have found several of these systems were not installed after acquiring a building permit from their local authority having jurisdiction. We have seen in the past, the quality of the installations to be below factory standards. With this, we don’t want to risk our reputation by touching any equipment we didn’t install. We know that “once we touch the system, we own it.” The money we would make on the repair is not worth the hardship we could encounter.
